Warming a battery up will give it a bit more charge. Not that much though. It just excites the electrons a bit more. You might get enough to make one call.
- People have been known to put batteries on a cooker… it does charge them a bit too – but sometimes they explode and that’s bad. I wouldn’t recommend that.
- Holding the battery in your hand for a few minutes might help you out. I wouldn’t expect it does the battery much harm, it might lose some charge capacity, and it’s not recommended.
- You can do the same thing with a near-empty gas cigarette lighter. Warm it up and the gas expands and sometimes you can get enough of a flame. Don’t heat them up too much either though.
- Place your battery under your armpit, inside your shirt , leave it there for 10-20 minutes!
